¹² ‘My friend,’ he said to him, ‘how did you gain entrance here without a wedding garment?’ The man was speechless. ¹³ Then the king said to the attendants, ‘Bind his hands and feet and cast him outside into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ ¹⁴ For many are called, but few are chosen.”^[a]
